About the teacher

Natasha Sigmund, M.M.Ed.—author, researcher, music educator, composer,
and performer— is the founder and director of Growing Up With Music.

Education: BM in music education, Moscow State Teacher’s University (Russia);
BM in music education, Temple University; MM in music education, Temple University;
Level One and Two Mastership Early Childhood Music, Gordon Institute of Music Learning;
Recipient, Presser Foundation Award (collecting and editing children’s folk music of Russia).

Experience: Natasha has devoted fifteen years to teaching music to children.
In 1999, she provided music enrichment classes to young families at Temple University
Early Childhood Music Foundation program. Presently she is a vocal music director
at Rush Intermediate School in Cinnaminson, NJ. Natasha has shared her expertise with parents,
undergraduate students, and music educators in the United States and abroad

through presentations, workshops, and conferences.
She is a certified teacher trainer for the Gordon Institute of Music Learning.
